Successful Taxi Test for KIZILELMA’s Third Prototype

Turkey’s defense industry has achieved significant milestones with the continued development of the Bayraktar KIZILELMA unmanned fighter jet and the successful testing of the TF6000 engine. These advancements underscore Turkey’s growing capabilities in aviation and defense technology.

Baykar, a leading Turkish defense company, has successfully conducted a taxi test for the third prototype (TC-OZB3) of the Bayraktar KIZILELMA, Turkey’s first unmanned fighter jet.

In a parallel development, Turkey has made significant progress with its TF6000 engine project. The Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) announced the successful operation of the TF6000, Turkey’s first military turbofan engine. This engine is slated to power both the KIZILELMA and ANKA-3 unmanned aerial vehicles.

Baykar has also successfully completed the engine start test for the third prototype of KIZILELMA. This test, shared on social media by Baykar’s Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar, demonstrates the continued progress of the unmanned fighter jet program.
