Turkish Army Expands Fleet With New ALTUG Vehicles

Turkish military vehicle manufacturer BMC has secured a significant contract with the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) to deliver next-generation combat vehicles to bolster the capabilities of Turkiye land forces. On February 24, 2025, BMC officially signed a contract with the SSB to supply 29 ALTUĞ 8×8 wheeled fighting vehicles to the Turkish Land Forces Command. This procurement falls under the 35mm Turreted Next-Generation Vehicles Project and includes comprehensive Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) services for the entire fleet, ensuring operational readiness and maintenance capabilities.
