TAI Receives Orders for 24 ANKA-S UAVs from 3 Countries

As per reports Indonesia Buying 12, Algeria Buying 10 & Chad to get 2 ANKA-S Drones from Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI). The orders were made due to the ANKA-S UAV’s strong performance and impressive technological features.

ANKA-S UAV is a domestically produced unmanned aerial vehicle of Turkey. With its advanced technological features, it can perform long-term reconnaissance, surveillance, and intelligence gathering activities at high altitudes. In addition, it can be equipped with various mission equipment such as different sensor systems and missile weapons.
Characteristics of ANKA-S UAV
ANKA-S UAV stands out with its advanced technological features. The UAV can operate at an altitude of 20,000 feet (6,096 meters) for 24 hours and has a maximum take-off weight of 2,200 kg. As Turkey’s first domestic UAV, ANKA-S is used in many different missions. It can be equipped with different sensor systems and can share real-time data through the data link on the UAV. In addition, ANKA-S is equipped with advanced autonomous flight control systems.
