Calidus and HAVELSAN Partner on Ground Training Systems

United Arab Emirates-based defense company Calidus Aerospace LLC has announced a significant collaboration with Turkish defense technology provider HAVELSAN. At the recent SAHA Expo 2024, the companies signed a Heads of Terms agreement for the sale of a Ground Based Training System (GBTS) specifically designed for Calidus’ indigenous aerial platforms. This agreement marks a milestone in Calidus’ commitment to advancing training capabilities for its customers, utilizing cutting-edge solutions that meet the high standards of UAE’s growing defense sector.

As part of this agreement, HAVELSAN will develop and deliver Full Mission Simulators, Part Task Trainers, and tailored training solutions to meet the unique requirements of Calidus’ aerial platforms, especially for the B-250.

HAVELSAN brings extensive experience and a state-of-the-art product line to this collaboration, promising swift delivery to match the demanding aircraft training needs of Calidus’ clientele. This solution will enable pilots and operators to train in diverse scenarios, ensuring preparedness for various missions and roles.
