PNS Shamsheer & Haibat In UAE, For NASL AL BAHR Exercise

Pakistan Navy ships PNS SHAMSHEER and PNS HAIBAT have docked at Port Mina Zayid in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE). The visit, which commenced on September 7, 2024, marks the beginning of the bilateral naval exercise NASL AL BAHR, showcasing the strong diplomatic and military ties between Pakistan and the UAE.

Upon arrival, the Pakistani naval contingent received a warm welcome from senior officials of the UAE Navy and the Defence Attaché of Pakistan, underscoring the importance of this maritime engagement. The Mission Commander, accompanied by the Commanding Officers of PNS SHAMSHEER and PNS HAIBAT, paid a courtesy call to Brigadier Abdullah Faraj Al Muhairi, Deputy Commander of the UAE Navy. These high-level interactions provided a platform to discuss matters of mutual interest and reaffirm the commitment to strengthening bilateral ties across various domains.

A key focus of the discussions was the planning and execution of Exercise NASL AL BAHR.
