HAVELSAN Brings NATO’s Critical Tactical Data Network Software into the Inventory
HAVELSAN is set to deliver the Tactical Data Link Management Center (TDL MC) Network Planning Software, a critical component of NATO’s modern Command, Control, and Communications (C3) architecture, for integration into NATO’s inventory.
This development represents an important step that demonstrates the global relevance of HAVELSAN’s advanced software and systems engineering capabilities within the international defense ecosystem. The software, which will be deployed across NATO assets, is designed to enhance the effectiveness of joint and combined operations by enabling secure, continuous, and real-time information exchange via tactical data links among air, land, and maritime forces.
The network planning capabilities developed as part of the Tactical Data Link Management Center enable the coordination of diverse platforms and systems through a Common Operational Picture (COP), positioning the solution at the core of NATO’s Command and Control (C2) infrastructure.
Commenting on the development, HAVELSAN General Manager Dr. Mehmet Akif Nacar stated that this procurement is not merely a project achievement, but also paves the way for future collaborations across Europe and the NATO region. Dr. Nacar emphasized that software solutions developed through HAVELSAN’s national engineering expertise are increasingly being preferred in international markets, reflecting a growing level of trust.
As one of the key actors in Türkiye’s software driven transformation in the defense industry,, HAVELSAN continues to address the operational needs of allied and partner countries through its solutions in C4ISR, simulation, autonomous, cybersecurity, and AI-enabled systems. This collaboration with NATO stands out as one of the international reflections of HAVELSAN’s approach to delivering high technology based, sustainable, and reliable solutions.
